Piece of garbage,

While I'm not usually one to venture out into the electronic world beyond reputable electronics companies, I was willing to give this a shot since it seemed to have good reviews on Amazon. Boy was I wrong. This is a piece of garbage that stopped working properly after less than 3 hours of use. I fully expect some electronics are going to fail, but failing spectacularly (radio stopped working and it kept trying to read CDs with no CD in unit) after that short a use is inexcusable. I certainly won't be buying anything from GPX ever again. Spend a few extra bucks and put your money into something that will last at least 4 hours.

I purchased this unit to play my 5th generation IPod Nano. It worked ok for a few minutes then the remote stopped working to control any function except on/off, volume and the EQ settings. I found the intructions on iLive's website to reset the iPod if the remote stops working. It didn't fix the problem. I have huge problems getting sound out of the unit when I first dock the iPod. I have to reset the iPod numerous times and play with the on/off and source controls to get the sound to come out and the sequence is never the same twice. Don't buy this unit if you want to listen to your iPod. It's way too much trouble. Spend the money to get a reliable product like a Bose

I like the concept of the product; it could be a little sturdier. It is good for the price range it is in. Overall I give this product a 3 out of 5, because of how easy it is to tip it over and I get static here and there when listening to it.

I love it! The sound is great! It looks great! The price is well worth it I would have expected to pay more for the quality of this system! I have a small amount of difficulty inserting the ipod into the playing dock, but I truly love this product!

Over all this is a great product, sound quality is good except for the radio. The radio sounds good sometimes, other times the static gets in the way of you listening to the radio, just position the antenna to the right spot and it will sound better. The mechanical sliding door is a cool feature, I have not had a problem with it so far . I did have a problem setting the time but if you follow the instructions carefully you'll get it. I like the equalizer it has, it makes some of my music from my iPod sound louder, or clearer. If you get this product you will be happy with it, that's it enjoy your iLive
