Frustrating MP3 Player...Please do not buy,
by Alexander Ty, 2010-07-16
I recently purchase this item and was delivered on time. So I was so excited to try and test then I connected it to my Laptop to make a full charge but unfortunately nothing happened and will not open. I disconnected it to my laptop thinking to try it one more time but still nothing happened so I tried it again after a few minutes about 20 I think then it just flickered. I called up the customer support for Coby and said the device was defective. So I mailed it back for a Full refund and still waiting for it. To avoid you from this same situation my advice is stay away from this model because cheap price could be deceiving...
not the best thing to buy!,
by H. Booth, 2010-06-23
when i bought this i just wanted a cute little mp3 player to have music and watch videos,i got it out the box, plugged it into my computer and put a few songs on it seemed easy but then i tried to get videos and i couldnt i downloaded lots of different things but nothing made it any easier! it had a nice design but getting videos on it is too difficult!! after a month it stopped working properly! it doesnt give songs full quality and it wont let any earphones i put in it work because you can only hear from one ear and i thought it was the earphones but then realize it was the mp3 player! the radio is bad,you have to hold it up to get full reception and it freezes 5 minutes after you charge it when it says battery full because once i forgot about it and when i checked it, it was frozen and i had to wait about 3 hours for it to lose all power and de-freeze. and by the way ,to this day it still has NO videos on at all and i had it for 4 months.
I DONT THINK ANY ONE WOULD BUY THIS!
great little player,
by Lona Rawls, 2010-06-21
I love this coby player, first off shipping was really quick and for the price I did not expect it to so sturdy. The touch interface is really great and easy to use and putting music on is really easy. Someone in another review said you cannot use windows vista with this player and that is not true because i use windows vista and everything works really great, I use windows media player to put music on the player and it is super easy. People are having trouble putting video on this player but once you know how it is also really easy, it took me about an hour to figure out. First I downloaded prism video converter, which is a free program, then whatever video or movie you want to put on your player you put it through the converter and covert it to avi once it is converted to avi then it can be moved onto the player with no problems. This little player looks really nice and sleek and I like the blue color the disk that comes with it I did not even have to use, its not necessary. Battery power is pretty good and sound quality is really good. I use it in my car with a cord through the radio and it works great. I have had this player for two weeks now and Im really satisfied with it. The only downfall that I can see is I can't find anywhere were I can do a random play and scrolling through the menus is a little slow but I definitly recommend this player and it is well worth the money.
It's great for what I wanted it for...,

All I wanted was a reliable MP3 player to take to the gym. This one is perfect. I'm not computer savvy whatsoever, but I literally plugged it in to the computer, and added hundreds of songs from my Windows media player in a matter of a few minutes. It was very easy. I have read other people had trouble with some of the other features, but this works great for just songs. I'm not for sure about anything else. The controls are a little sensitive, but overall, I still like the player.
