Works on some cars, but not all.,

This adapter will not work in cars that have a door on the cassette player because the cord sticks out and the door cannot be closed. It was a waste of money for me.

I would not recommend this for anyone who is an audiofile. The sound quality is not great. However, for most of us who don't notice the sound quality it is great, it sounds like a standard radio music transmissions but it is not cd quality. It is pretty cheap and it allows you to charge AND listen to your ipod or iphone for those long road trips.

I purchased this product approximately 60 days ago. While the sound quality was initially good, the cassette mechanism started (and has continued) to make a very, very, loud clicking noise. Unless the stereo system is played at a very high volume, the clicking noise is very distracting. I replaced it with a cheap $8.99 alternative which has performed well.
Monster brand. You can get better but you can't pay more!,

I should have known better than to buy from Monster again. But I was in a rush so I did it.
To start with, this adapter is TWICE the price of competing models. I figured maybe it was a little better made. Nope.
Typical Monster thinking, "Our name doubles the value of any cheap product".
I recommend buying the cheaper ones. They aren't more cheaply made, just marked up less.

MONSTER 123873 Monster Icarplay Cassette Adapter
I love it. If you don't have an iPod jack in your car, but have a cassette player, you will want to buy this product if you want hands-free operation of your iPod. It costs more than similar products, but the sound quality it produces made it worth it for me. I tried three other adapters, and this one beat them, hands down.
