Monster 300 FM Transmitter,
by ed lewis, 2010-07-13
For the price and not having wires attached product works well.
There seems to be a delay sometimes before it picks up station which is reason for 3 stars.
Dont waste your money,

Bad product, never got a channel that was clear, it sounded horrible, only static was what I heard out of this product, not to mention how dangerous it is when you constantly have to change the channel while driving just when you thought you found a channel that was going to work, but no channel ever sounded good enough. If I had to describe this product with one word it would be, static! Needless to say I am going to try get my money back! Thank you hope this helps =)
Bad...,
by A. Linden, 2010-01-22
I don't usually leave reviews for products, however I figured I should do so for this product as I found the reviews out there kind of misleading, and I figured that other people shouldn't spend $40 and then be disappointed as I was (especially since monster usually delivers first class products).
Okay, I thought I should note that the product did break down after several days of use, however that is not the reason I gave it one star (as this happens sometimes with the best of companies and products, just a thing called life...).
My issue was the quality of the sound which was beyond bad and staticy, at certain times other radio stations constantly overlapped with my ipod while driving (very short distances). I tried every channel available, with very little improvement.
Another important issue for me was the fact that it feeds of your battery charge, monsters review claimed that it uses minimal power charge off the ipod, however the truth of the matter is that it shortens your ipod charge time to over half! I usually get over 8 hours of non stop music on one charge. And with this transmitter I got just a little over 2.5 hours (big difference). My friend ordered it the same time I did, and as his did not break down after a few days, the charging option via USB did not work (and neither did mine by the way, however I just let it slide by), everything else was identical. Hope this review helps you in deciding which product is right for you, as I mentioned earlier I wish I would have known all this prior to purchasing it.
Best of luck to all of you.
Not bad.,

This is not a bad product. However, it is a bit frustrating when you a driving a somewhat long distance and have to constantly change the station it is set to. I'm sure all products like this are similar though.
Works great in Houston in a Honda Fit,
by S. Ludtke, 2009-12-13
I was a bit discouraged by some of the negative reviews I'd seen about this, and I've owned a couple of FM transmitters in
the past, and they had serious problems with a) interference from the iPhone cell signal and b) FM transmitter too weak. I was also
a bit worried because the Honda Fit has it's antenna in the back of the car on the roof. Anyway,
I decided to give it a try, and while it took me a little while to find just the right gap between stations (Houston fills almost
every channel), once I found one, it was excellent. Very nearly as good as an Aux jack connection. I didn't experience any
problems with interference from the iPhone 3Gs cell transmissions either. In addition, unlike some other FM transmitters, it has
a standard mini-USB connector for charging while you use it (it even includes the USB cable). The only negative is the normal
'this device was not designed to work with the iPhone message' when you first connect it. I did not put it in airplane mode, and
as I said, did not experience any problems with interference. Overall, I'm very satisfied !
