by Eunkee Kim, 2010-04-30
I bought yp-p3 at the online market on Sep.2009. Now this is a garbage because of power on/off.
When i running with this YP-P3 The power is off authmatically.
So I shaked this I could hear any innner noise.
PLS. Don't buy this garbage. The service is more garbage. I asked for repairment but i had to listen to what i have to prove this accident.
Do not buy this Samsung Product,
by L. Long, 2010-04-26
Do not buy this Samsung product. If you do a quick Google search, you will see that this product has a chronic issue with the headphone jack coming loose from the main circuit board causing static and missing sound from the left or right side. My unit developed this problem when it was slightly more that a year old, which put it out of warranty. Samsung quoted a repair price of $107 and refused to stand by their product, even when they know it is a common issue. Do yourself a favor and go with another, more reliable manufacturer.
i'm in love with this mp3 player,
by Hyung Kim, 2010-04-16
its very good quality for money. i love its sound quality, and its little widgets. only thing is its locking mechanism is bit of a pain, but no huge deal, and loading of playlist lags a little bit. other than that i love this mp3 player worth the money and its compatible with mac, which is awesome, and i can share data.
It finds new ways to surprise me,

Pros:
1. It works with both my mac and netbook. It even plays music that I purchased from itunes, without conversion! It shows up as an external drive on both machines and allows me to click and drop without syncing it nor using music programs like itunes or window media player.
2. The size. It's smaller than my blackberry curve (in both length and depth)and fits in my jeans and most pockets.
3. Proper Constructions. The picture quality is very sharp and clear. The even though the body is small, the screen is rather large and I haven't had to strain to watch videos or text files. The sound is also good, though I am not an audiophile, I appreciate the eq and various effects.
Cons
1. Mac integration can be buggy. I transfered 2 albums without problem. But when I tranferred 10 more from my mac, I received an error message and had to format the device. This is appears to be a hold over from an earlier model since others have reported it and there are numerous solutions.
2. Album art can be a pain. I transferred songs that were on an external hard drive and it would not show the album art on the device even though it showed in Windows Media Player and iTunes. I use Mp3 tag, since it seems to be a more stable program than the recommended emodio to update the album info. It's tedious, but it works.
I recently found a way to use the device as an e-reader by converting pdf's to text documents and using the text program. You can adjust the page layout to make the most of the screen area and text and background to ease eye strain. The included submway maps are useful since it included major travel destinations such as London, Barcelona, Beijing, and New York. I am very, very, very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to those who are looking for an mp3 player or mini entertainment device, not a mini computer.
P3,

I have had it for a month now. It works well as a bluetooth device, but the sound that it projects is lacking. I tried the wired connection & have since upgraded to another bluetooth stereo headset.
The touch screen interface is great. It even includes metro lines for large cities. This function was a great help while in London. The features and ability to bluetooth to my phone & use as an interface is way cool.
The memory storage capacity is good. I am thoroughly enjoying it. Now if only it include Skype, then the P3 would be perfect.
