I like this little mp3. I purchased it so I could listen to some audio books that are not compatible with iTunes / my iPod. It is small, light-weight and sturdy.
Pros: a very long battery life - I specifically paid a bit more to get an mp3 for which I was not required to deal with changing batteries - I went on a 2 day road trip and used it for over 10 hours and never ran out of juice.
Pros: compact size and attractive look (although I do NOT wear it around my neck, I prefer to use my own headphones and keep the player safely in my pocket)
Con: just the 1 - I miss having a display screen. However, that is the trade-off when dealing with something this compact (circumference the size of a half dollar)

I was looking for a small MP3 player to take to the gym and didn't like the new shuffles so I tried this one, and it has not disappointed. It's small, light, sounds great, and has great battery life. But the coolest part is that it looks so cool and the LED indicator is also very stylish. The buttons seem solid and it seems well-constructed. Also, when you turn it off, it starts from where you left off. It doesn't restart at the beginning of the track. That's useful for listening to long audiobook tracks. You can also construct playlists and even with no screen, the buttons allow a surprising amount of different options (eg. shuffle, continuous, bookmark, EQ, etc). Great product! You won't be disappointed.

I bought this for my 9 yr old daughter and she loves it. There is a whole lot of memory (she's really excited about that). The headphones have a clip on it so that it does come loose from the player - unless you need it to. Of course there is no digital screen but you can easily move through the play list.

My second generation shuffle broke and I was looking for a replacement and didn't like the fact that I couldn't use my own third-party headset with the third-gen shuffle. I tried the SanDisk Sansa Clip, but I did not like the sound quality. Then I tried the Pebble S2 and was very pleasantly surprised. The sound quality is great, it looks great, and the battery life is very good (at least 10 hours). If you're looking for a small and easy-to-use mp3 player, definitely buy this one. You won't be disappointed.
