by Jennifer H. Gonzalez, 2010-07-11
the sansa 8gb has worked great for me. i had a 2gb before but i filled it up so i shopped around and sansa delived agian. the sansa is very elegant and sleek. it has performed well and the battery takes for ever to kill. if you got one you would want to get an accesserie package with a wall charger piece, this is a very helpful piece.
Sansa 8GB,

The Sansa 8GB mp3 player is fantastic, it's easy to use, you can download music, listen to the radio, has a recorder and also view your own photos. I bought two of them, one for myself and one for my friend. They are excellent! It's better than having to carry a CD player around, who wants to use a CD player when you have varieties of music on one small portable mp3 player. You can download as many songs as you like. I've downloaded over 1,000 songs in just five days, man that is a lot of songs! You can take it anywhere with you. and it fits inside of your pocket.
Great MP3 Player...Especially for audiobooks,
by Jeffery A Richards, 2010-06-30
I bought this 8gb version to replace the trusty 4gb that has served me so well for almost 3 years. During those 3 years, that player withstood more punishment and use than a normal user would ever put a player through, so I was very happy that it lasted so long. My old Fuze still works beautifully, but the battery no longer keeps a full charge, and I need a long lasting charge for when I am working. This is a problem that afflicts any rechargeable battery, and is not exclusive to the Fuze.I have owned iPods before, and much prefer the Sansa Fuze. I listen to a lot of audiobooks, and this player handles them perfectly. You can put anything in the audiobook folder, and it automatically bookmarks the files as you play them. iPods only do that for certain formats. Most of the books I listen to are in MP3 format, and I was constantly trying to find where I left off with an iPod. This an easy to use and hearty player, and I wouldn't own any other kind.
Love It!,

I love my Fuze! I'm no techy so if you want technical information read some of the other reviews, if you are like me and just want something that works - read this.
I listen to music, audio books and use the radio for the most part. I had some issues putting pictures on it - mostly that everything had to be converted to .bmp file type. I am on my second one - completely my fault - they don't care to go swimming though it seemed to recover from that - and being exposed to strong magnets - literally stuck to the case - was the final death knell for the first one. As you can tell, I'm kind of hard on my MP3 players. I have owned a few others - I refuse to purchase an i-pod - and this is by far the best one yet, the most features and the price is great. I laugh at the i-pod people who have thier status symbols - I have a better product - and I can replace it much easier next time I drop in the bath... Updateing the devise is easy, adding memory is a great plus, and not having to go through i-tunes for EVERYTHING is the best.
This product plays Ogg Vorbis and FLAC.,
by Ryan Farmer, 2010-06-13
Amazon seems to hide the fact that some personal media players support Ogg Vorbis and FLAC, as this product does. Maybe because they're buying Linux from Microsoft (which doesn't own it). :P
