All of the components and cables are well made.
It is easy to set up and the sound quality is great.
It has multiple base plates, for different models of Zune.
The base plates only fit a naked Zune. So any protective cases must be removed. For me it's a minor inconvenience and one that I quickly adjusted to.
Remote is Terrible,

I bought this product so that I could connect my Zune to my home stereo and be able to change tracks with the remote while working at my desk 6 feet away. Unfortunately the remote Microsoft has designed for this dock is complete garbage. It will not work from more than 4 feet away and even then only in a completely straight line with the dock. This makes the dock useless for me and a wasted purchase.
EDIT: I replaced the no name battery that came with the remote with a brand new Energizer battery and it effectively doubled the range of the remote making it useful again.

I ordered this product June FIRST and HAVE NOT received it yet!!!!! It is currently July 12th, so if this product works I literally have no idea. I do know that the vendor is NOT reputable. Don't buy anything from them. I have bought well over a hundred products from Amazon and this is the first problem I have had. I received an e-mail stating that this would be cleared up and my money refunded and I would receive the product free of charge that was 12 days ago....at least they are consistant nothing has happened! Thanks for nothing.
Remote Sucks,

As another poster commented, the remote doesn't work very well the docking station, and that is really why I wanted this thing. The docking station itself works good and does what it needs to do, which is send the audio and video to your TV/receiver while charging the Zune itself. The remote thing really bugs me though. It works intermittently at best; you need to be straight in line with the dock (remote doesn't work from an angle) and you can't be farther than 6-8 ft from the dock. This thing would be awesome if the remote worked better.
